A new project I am working on for Marathon County Bomb Squad. I thought I would give some insight on how I use Zbrush to create the relief parts of our coins here at Medalcraft. The border and text are all created using Illustrator, then all elements exported and composed in Photoshop to create a replica image for a proof. Once the customer approves the design, the model and vector file are used for production on the piece.
The silver coin (nickle-silver) is what is being proposed to the customer, the Brass one is a personal one I did out of curiosity of how a different material would look with the layout.
